With a distinguished career spanning over 24 years in the financial services industry, Bill Wimberly brings a wealth of experience. Having spent the most recent 20 years at a southeast regional bank brokerage firm, Bill has embarked on an exciting new chapter of his career by launching an independent financial services practice in partnership with BDL Advisors and Osaic Wealth, Inc. which will be focused on deepening relationships with a smaller number of households.
His years of experience include a broad range of financial services, including retirement income planning, wealth management, insurance planning and risk assessment. His transition to independence reflects his desire to offer a more customized and comprehensive approach to planning and investment management, free from the constraints of a traditional bank brokerage setting.
Bill holds a BBA in Risk Management and Finance from The University of Georgia. A native of Thomasville, GA, Bill, and his family now live just outside Greenville, SC. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years, Kim, and their three children Gabrielle (Miki), Alex and Isabelle. Bill is active in his Church and if not watching college sports, you can often find him volunteering his time at the local high school baseball practices.
