401k and Company Benefits
At Browne, Draper and Land, we are committed to the 401(k) marketplace. Our goal is to provide the service and resources necessary in order to meet the expectations of the plan’s trustees and participants. Through education and responsive solutions, we believe we are positioned to assist you in maintaining a successful employer sponsored plan.
We believe there are five pillars to maintaining a successful 401(k):
- INVESTMENTS*: Full Asset Class Coverage in order to allow for proper portfolio diversification. We accomplish this by using a “Open Architecture” approach. This approach allows for flexibility and customization of a participant's account.
- EDUCATION: As a plan fiduciary, you are responsible for providing basic investment education to your plan participants. Semi-annual meetings with employees ensure questions are being answered, and group seminars focusing on fundamentals of investing along with market updates keep everyone properly informed.
- ADMINISTRATION: One of the conveniences of a fully bundled plan is simplified communication. Our commitment to assist you with implementation and maintenance of the plan reduces the number of relationships needed to maintain your 401(k).
- FEES AND EXPENSES: We believe in full fee disclosure. From proposal to plan, we will help you understand the fees associated with your plan, and remain transparent throughout the plan administration in order to earn your confidence.
- IRS and DOL COMPLIANCE: A potential pitfall with employer sponsored retirement plans is failing to maintain the plan to satisfy regulations. We bring these items to your attention, and assist you in designing and maintaining those aspects of your plan.
